Hat nut M10
This high-end hat nut is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Thanks to its characteristic shape, it offers an attractive closure for threaded rods, screws and bolts. It is therefore ideal for mounting posts, handrails and railings, whose mounting plates do not have a cover rosette.
The cap nut is not produced like other nuts in the cold or hot pressing process, but is rotated mechanically. This special type of production gives this cap nut its particularly attractive appearance. Thus, it has clear contours with sharp edges and a particularly smooth surface, which would hardly be feasible with other manufacturing methods. A clear recommendation for Mondays with visible screw connections!
1.4305 stainless steel - AISI 303
The material number 1.4305 is a austenitic steel with corrosion resistance and good machinability. The steel is particularly suitable for automatic machining and is therefore also referred to as automatic steel by hand.
DIN1587 high shape
The hexagonal nut corresponds to DIN 1587, which clearly defines the dimensions of the nut. Thanks to its high shape, the nut has a good screw-in depth of about 12mm and thus offers a particularly large amount of space when the screw connections are disengaged. Especially during assembly work with threaded rods, this often proves to be an advantage.
